She works from a psychodynamic perspective, which recognises that current difficulties or problems may be linked to earlier experiences. Understanding the underlying nature of your emotional difficulties can help to relieve suffering and can open up the possibility for change. It is quite normal to feel anxious about starting therapy. The initial consultation will provide an opportunity to explore whether therapy may be helpful for you. There is no commitment to ongoing sessions at this stage.
If you decide you would like to continue, regular sessions would be arranged as an important part of the therapy as it provides a sense of continuity and security, whilst you work through your emotional difficulties.
Initial consultation (90 minutes) ,£60
Ongoing consultations (50 minutes) ,£45
